About DPLR
DPLR formed in 2008 from the ashes of Deplore by former members Lars Peterke (vocals) and Niels Paul a.k.a. Garden Grows (programming/vocals). The first song "Crush My Bit" was released in January 2009 and contains a sample of the unreleased Deplore song "Crush My Misery". Due to a move by Paul away from his hometown Bremen he continued the project by himself. Newer songs draw heavy influences by late 80s/early 90s Synthpop, rather than the chiptune-driven sound of "Crush My Bit" or "Polycarbonate".
