About Doyle Bramhall
Doyle Bramhall (1949.02.17/Dallas, TX - 2011.11.12/Alpine) was strictly a Texas blues musician, a talented guitarist, drummer and singer who has worked with Stevie Ray Vaughan and his brother Jimmie Vaughan. Bramhall is sometimes confused with his son, Doyle Bramhall II, who is also a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. It was initially reported that Mr. Bramhall may have died as a result of complications from pneumonia. One of his final North Texas performances was at 2011's Main St.
