About Down South
Down South were an American hip-hop group consisting of Soda Pop, Myyor the DJ, and Shawn J Period. They released their debut and only album in 1994 called Lost In Brooklyn. The group later broke up, with Shawn J Period going on to have a successful production career in the underground hip-hop scene, working with Mos Def, Artifacts, and Bush Babees.
