About Down in the Park
Down in the Park, a unique melodi-core band, was formed in Lafayette, Louisiana in the summer of 1999 by 4 aspiring musicians who began jamming in a dusty spare room set aside Jason Bienvenue's parents house. Very quickly Cullen, Jason, Patrick and Bradley discovered they had more than just your average garage band. Forging together the stylings of many of todays popular emo and alternative groups, they began to form their own substance that can be compared to no other.
