About Dove Slimme
Dove Slimme is an indie/alternative/experimental rock band based in Nairobi, Kenya. The band was formed late in 2007 and currently consists of Saidimu Kiereini (founding member) on rhythm guitar & vocals, Jillian Ndirangu on vocals, Migwa Nthigah on lead guitar, Ali Wamahiu on bass and Ronjey (the rocktopus) on drums. The band originally started as an RnB/Neo soul group, but that only lasted about two months before they converted to rock. The original members were Saidmu Kiereini, Ombaye Getui, Kibet Soi and Kui.
