About Dotem
Inspired by the progressive metal sound of the 90s, Kianoosh Naghavi (guitars) upon meeting his soon-to-be bandmate, Dara Teymourifar (drums), formed the band in Tehran in the summer of 2010. The two began the early jam sessions with Shahab Arfaei Moghadam (guitars) Amirreza Madadzadeh (bass - Sang Band) and Keyhan Abbasian (vocals) as the original members. With Aria Mohtadi Haghighi joining as keyboard player in 2011, the band's musical direction shifted towards what Naghavi had originally envisioned.
