About dorlis
dorlis (ドーリス), born February 23, 1982, is a Japanese jazz singer-songwriter signed under the Rhythm Zone label (formerly under Victor Entertainment). Her music is influenced by scat, swing, and gypsy music in addition to jazz. Born and raised in Okayama, dorlis is also an experienced guitarist. She learned to play the guitar at a very young age, and after quitting school to pursue her interest in music, she began performing in the streets at the age of 17.
