About Doris Dragović
Doris Dragović was born April 16, 1961 in Split, Croatia. She started her singing career in the 1980s, and became famous with the songs such as Željo moja, Sedam mora, sedam gora, Selim ti ja. Some of the later hits included Što je od mene ostalo, To, etc. In 1999, her performance of the dramatic song "Marija Magdalena" beat 23 other entries to win Croatia's annual epic-length Dora contest, which entitled her to represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest, organised that year in Jerusalem.
