About DJ Urban
There are two artists with this name: 1) Born in Detroit in 1977, Urban moved to Chicago at an early age. Worked in various Chicago based record stores since the mid-1990s. Now produces and DJs, holding a residency at Stammheim in Kassel, Germany in the year 2000. Over the years, Urban’s style has ranged from deep house and acid house to old school house, techno and ghetto. Rees co-founded Bunchlox Music with Karl Almaria as well as started two record labels of his own, Public Housing & Jackin' The Box.
