About Divine Ascension
Divine Ascension is an Australian symphonic, power and progressive metal band from Melbourne. The band was founded in 2007. In 2010, keyboardist Don Marciano left the line-up and was replaced by David Van Pelt. In December of that year the band appeared at the Sonic Forge Festival and played at the Australian part of Progfest the following year. The debut album As the Truth Appears was released in 2011 via Nightmare Records. In 2013, Divine Ascension acted as the opening act for Kamelot
