About Dissonation
Dissonation is a Nashville based progressive/deathcore project that originated in late 2021. The band sprouted from the minds of Taylor Pace (guitar/vocals) & James Hunt (drums), later joined by Nic Townsend (guitar). They share an immense appreciation for progressive, rhythmically punishing metal bands like Meshuggah, the Contortionist, Knocked Loose, Sworn In, The Faceless, Car Bomb, Lorna Shore & other modern heavy acts. Thematically, Dissonation explores ideas of dystopia, mental anguish, & psychological corruption.
