About Discovery Zone
JJ Weihl was born and raised in New York City. She is a founding member of the Berlin based experimental pop band Fenster and plays solo with her project Discovery Zone. She is also the creative director of the video art collective VIDEOKILLS which curates a traveling exhibition called Invisible City Symphonies, combining contemporary silent film with live original music scores. When she is not touring or recording music, JJ works as a translator, produces radio programs, curates, DJs, promotes concerts, writes and makes films and music videos.
