
Dirk Darmstaedter (born Febuary 1965) is a North German musician/songwriter and former lead singer of the 1990’s band The Jeremy Days, one of Germanys seminal Indie Pop Bands of their time. Working with reknown producers such as Langer/Winstanley (Madness, Dexy’s, David Bowie, etc.) and Fred Maher (Lloyd Cole, Lou Reed, etc.) the band went on to create five genre-defining albums (check out: „Circushead“ ) Dirk founded Tapete Records in 2002, now one of Germanys finest Indie Labels.
