About Dinosaur 88
Dinosaur 88 is a synthpop, electronic, chiptune music duo formed in Guatemala, Guatemala City , and consisting of Guatemalan musicians Luis Alonso and Sebas Méndez, originally members of the band Los Tiros. Under the name Dinosaur 88, they present a mix of electronic sounds, influenced by the Chiptune music and 80's synthesizers. One of the most representative characteristics of the duo is the use of the acoustic drums in the rhythmic base of the songs, which fills them with energy, while the synthesizers guide the melody with nostalgia.
