There are at least 4 artists called "Din." 1. The original "DIN" is the brainchild of "Pupka Frey," formerly of the groups Digital Poodle, Kinder Atom and Rational Youth. Throughout the 1990s he released three albums and one vinyl 12" on labels such as DOVe, Ninja Tune, Cleopatra and Hypnobeat/Hyperium. The music on these albums is difficult to pigeonhole, but is generally an eclectic mix of spacey, synthesized, often up-beat, frequently all-instrumental music. Copies of his out-of-print 12" sell for as high as 180 Euros.
