About Dignen
Dignen is based in Portland, OR and was formed in late 1997. The music is currently composed by four individuals Tim Roth, Ashley Carson, Ritchie Young, and Brian Gumpert. The first self titled album focuses on melodic, layered textures which move listeners to various moods. The vocalists trade lyrical suggestions and wrap words into the music. The songs are very dynamic and focused on personal experience. The 2nd album "The Years After The College Collapse" is more sparse and delicate than dignen's first album.
