Die Maverick is currently based in Benoni, South Africa where all 5 members originate from. They provide a solid style of rock that is progressive yet catches the listeners' attention right from the start. Formed in 2007 they are really a very new band that sprung up with a melodic force to entertain the listeners and this is their main aim, to please! Influences range from all corners of the musical world, from Bob Dylan to Radiohead to Black Sabbath. The band makes a point of bringing new elements to a music genre that will never die!
