
Dick Schory is a prolific American percussionist and composer, notable for his numerous contributions to the space age pop genre in the late 1950s and 1960s. From being a classically trained musician in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, he later embarked on a solo career composing experimental bachelor pad sounds. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 13, 1931.
