Det Gylne Triangel was a norwegian synth band. They issued two singles, "Maskindans b/w Får aldri nok" in March 1982 (featuring guest vocals by Reidunn Lundgren), then "Hula Hula b/w Bengali Radio" followed in September that year. Both singles were produced by Volker Zibell and Torgrim Eggen (both from new wave legends The Cut), but where the first was an innovative, experimental slab of danceable darkness, their second was an attempt at goofy, fun-in-the-sun pop to lead to a commercial breakthrough – according to music paper Puls
