About DESTINATION MOON
Destination Moon are Damaris Baker and David Ashton. They make music by ‘playing’ found objects - saucepan lids, glass bowls, wooden boxes, odd pieces of metal - combining these with acoustic and electronic instruments to create a mixture of unusual rhythms, sonic textures and evocative melodies. When playing live David and Damaris are joined by Tom Kazas on guitar and bass. The band is based in Melbourne, Australia and their debut CD is available through Feral Media, part of the POW WOW series.
