Desmoterion se fundó el 16 de Noviembre de 2008, cuando Alexander (Batería), Luis (Guitarra), Christian (Guitarra) y Andry Rincón (Vocalista) decidieron iniciar un nuevo proyecto musical, así cuando comenzaron a reunirse para componer las primeras canciones, “Madeleine y La Otra Cara de la Moneda”, con estos temas la banda define su estilo, Thrash Metal, bajo las influencias de bandas como: Motörhead, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Testament, Metallica, Tankard, Sodom, Slayer, Municipal Waste, D.
