About Descendants of Erdrick
Descendants of Erdrick is a band dedicated to re-imagining classic video game music in an instrumental, rock-style format. Since it’s creation in 2009, this Austin-based band has recorded two CDs, played in several national conventions, and attracted a dedicated following. The band is headed by guitarist Amanda Lepre and bassist Chris Taylor and includes virtuosic guitar work by Mike “Lobos” Villalobos, the powerful drumming of John Pike, and (among is more unique features) high-spirited flute playing by Lauren Liebowitz.
