About Derryl Gabel
Derryl Gabel was born in 1970 and took up playing guitar at the age of 15. His early inspiration, like many others around that time was the Shrapnel recording artists Vinnie Moore and Yngwie Malmsteen Derryl won a guitar competition to play on master guitarist George Lynch's solo release, "Sacred Groove". Later his skills caught the attention of Mark Varney and the now defunct Legato records. He released a number of tracks on the "Guitar on the Edge" series.
