
Derek Bell (October 21, 1935 - October 17, 2002) was an Irish musician (known primarily as harpist) and a long-time member of the traditional Irish band, The Chieftains. Apart from his work within the band, he also released several solo albums, which include music of Turlough O'Carolan. A tribute album to Derek Bell was released by The Chieftains in 2005.
