About Delinquents
There are two artists (see also: The Delinquents) 1) Delinquents was a post-punk band formed in the late 70s in Austin, Texas. The Delinquents followed in the footsteps of such nearly forgotten groups as the 13th Floor Elevators, The Seeds, and the Shadows of the Knight. They recorded a solo album and an album with infamous rock critic Lester Bangs titled jook savages on the brazos. Lester's album with the Delinquents was the predecessor of so-called alt-country bands such as Wilco and Son Volt.
