About Delia Bell
Delia Bell (Francis Leona Bell, Bonham, Texas, April 16, 1935 - June 15, 2018) was an American, country and bluegrass singer, songwriter and guitarist. She was known for her work with Bill Grant with whom she fronted the Kiamichi Mountain Boys with brothers Orville, Ben, Glenn and Virgil Bonham. Bill Grant and Delia Bell was a bluegrass duo from Oklahoma. Emmylou Harris has said of Delia Bell: “If Hank Williams and Kitty Wells had married and had a daughter, she would have sounded like Delia Bell.
