About Dead or American
Formed in Stirling on January 1st 2000, DorA are generally labelled "post-hardcore" but this narrowing tag only applies if it incorporates the same spirit of invention that made bands like Fugazi, Cable, Helmet and Jawbox great. Obvious childhood influences from the worlds of hardcore and grunge are combined with a passion for alternative pop. Ultimately elements of artists as diverse as Unsane, Interpol, Elliott Smith and Fu Manchu are smashed together at high speed yet
