About de stokers
Formed in 2009, The Stokers are a seven headed ska, polka and punk band with influences from Klezmer (such as Gezag), balkan and tearjerkers (such as Niemand om mee te proosten). De Stokers describe their music as Hoompa-punk. It results in a danceable music mix immersed in a saterical sauce. De Stokers are befriended, former members of De Hardheid and Solid Rocket Boosters. De Stokers hail from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. By 2014, De Stokers released their selftitled debut EP.
