About De Div
De DIV (just DIV from 1986 onwards) were a somewhat legendary post-punk / new wave band from Delft, The Netherlands. They released five studio albums and two EPs during their eleven years of existence, from 1979 to 1990. They sang mostly in Dutch in the early 1980s, followed by predominantly English lyrics in the latter half of the 1980s. Original line-up: Art Zaaijer (vocals), Niek van Slobbe (guitar), Rob Dingemans (guitar), Marc de Reus (bass), Peter de Wolf (drums).
