About Day3

DAY 3 are a three piece hard rock/heavy metal band formed in the summer of 2006 and based in the Hamilton, New Zealand. Consisting of frontman/guitarist/vocalist Stew Murray, Bassist/backing vocalist Duane Sutherland, and Drummer Triga7, DAY3's Distinctive sound is built on the lifelong influences of hard rock and heavy metal on each band member. Recognizing that these American-origin genres have always been largely unrepresented in New Zealand, the band has set about recifying this oversight with a passionate vengeance.
