About David Shenton
David Shenton was born in Rotherham, England, in 1975. He began his musical training at the age of 8 by learning the violin with the local peripatetic system. At the age of 13 he began taking piano lessons. Having completed all of his Associated Board of Music Examinations by the age of 17, all with very high distinctions, he won many regional competitions such as the Rotherham Young Musician of the year and Sheffield Young Musician of the Year, the Chesterfield Concerto Competition and the Buxton Recital Competition.
