About David Neres
David Neres Campos (born São Paulo, Brazil, 3 March 1997) is a professional football/soccer player for AFC Ajax in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He joined the Dutch club in January 2017 on a transfer from São Paulo FC. In the summer of 2020, when his countrymen Antony Matheus dos Santos also made the transfer from São Paulo to Ajax, the Amsterdam club's media department decided to welcome Antony with a song, 'Bem-vindo Antony' ('Welcome Antony'), written especially for him and featuring David Neres as a rapper.
