
David Balasanyan (born 10 October 1983 Yerevan, Armenia) studied composition and piano with Ashot Ghazaryan at a music school at ,,Mkhitar Sebastatsi,, educational center in Yerevan from 1991-98 and composition with Ashot Ghazaryan and piano with Avetik Pivazyan at the Romanos Melikyan Music College in Yerevan from 1998-2000. He studied composition with prof. Ashot Zohrabyan at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory from 2000-05, where he has had post-graduate studies in composition with Ashot Zohrabyan since 2005.
