About Dashiell Hedayat
Dashiell Hedayat (real name: Daniel Theron; born 5 june 1947; died 17 July 2013) was a writer and translated in french books by Bob Dylan (Tarantula), J.R.R. Tolkien (Tom Bombadil) and Leonard Cohen. He recorded two albums, "La Devanture des Ivresses" as Melmoth in 1969, and Obsolete as Dashiell Hedayat in 1971, the latter with contributions by William S. Burroughs and members of Gong.
