About Darren Gibson
Darren Gibson is a Melbourne based songwriter. He spent his formative musical years playing guitar in melodic hardcore band Away From Now and singing in rock act Lead Sketch Union and filling in for a variety of acts including Mid Youth Crisis. In 2008 he teamed up with pals Donnie Dureau and Jamie Hay for a collaborative release and busking tour titled, Tyre Swans. In 2010 Gibson’s second release came in the form of a split EP with US songwriter Chuck Ragan of Hot Water Music.
