About DARRELL

DARRELL is a Japanese metal band hailing from Nagoya, reformed from 藍-AI- in 2017. They are part of the loud kei subgenre of visual kei. The band's current lineup includes vocalist and guitarist Ai (藍), bassist JOKER, and drummer Makoto (真), with past members including guitarists Jun (潤) and MIYA. Following DEATHGAZE's hiatus announcement in 2014, vocalist Ai decided to pursue music further. He started out with a focus on solo work under the name 藍-AI-, but requests to perform live shows led him to search for supporting members.
