About Danny Kirwan

Daniel David "Danny" Kirwan (born 13 May 1950 in Brixton, South London; died 8 June 2018 in London) was a British musician best known for his role as guitarist, singer and songwriter with the blues rock band Fleetwood Mac between 1968 and 1972. Early career Danny Kirwan's guitar skills started attracting attention at an early age, and he was still only 17 when he came to the attention of established British blues band Fleetwood Mac, while he was playing in London with one of his first bands, Boilerhouse.
