About Daniel Arfib
Daniel Arfib develops research on synthesis and processing of sounds, and the creative gesture in computer music at the Laboratory of Mechanics and Acoustics (LMA) of the CNRS de Marseille since 1977, where he now holds the position as a Director of Research. He is a close associate of Jean-Claude Risset for many years. His early works of pure synthesis, compiled on an LP Musique Numérique released in 1980 have received awards in several prestigious competitions (Summary Festival, etc.).
