About Dane Donohue
Dane Donohue was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio, on August 30, 1948. In the early 1970s, he toured across the United States and Europe performing the role of Jesus in the rock musical "Jesus Christ Superstar." Following this period, he began making demo recordings and sent them to various industry contacts. This led to a management contract with Leber-Krebs in New York City and subsequently to a recording deal with Columbia Records. Donohue took three years to complete his solo debut album, which was released in 1978.
