About Dan Frechette
Winnipeg-based Dan Frechette is a throw-back to the musicians of yesteryear, a traditionalist and a troubadour. Whether he's singing about love or politics, there's a story to his song, and his style ranges from old tyme music to rockabilly. An accomplished musician, Dan plays guitar, bass, banjo, harmonica, mandolin, and ukulele. Dan has written more than 1300 songs, and 14 of what he considers to be his personal best were put on his debut album in 2005, Lucky Day.
