About Da Fat Cat Clique

Da Fat Cat Clique, Philadelphia's premiere independent hip hop group. Anyone familiar with the Philly Hip Hop scene knows the cats have been around for a long time. The group, composed of two sets of brothers and two lifelong friends, formed in 1993. They dropped their first single in 1994, selling mainly at venues they booked themselves to showcase the group. From there they began an all out quest to make themselves a household name. In mid 1996 they decided to independently release an EP entitled "Da Cat's out The Bag".
