About Curved Air
Curved Air is a British progressive rock band formed in 1970, known for combining elements of classical, folk, and electronic music. The band was primarily active during the 1970s and reformed in 2008 after several periods of inactivity. The group gained attention in the 1970s for the distinctive vocals of Sonja Kristina and the violin work of Darryl Way. Kristina had previously performed in the London production of the musical "Hair." The band's sound also featured synthesizer contributions from Francis Monkman.
