Cultivated Bimbo was one of several early swedish ebm bands emerging in the last year of the 80s. Their first maxi singles/mini lps Configuration 1 (1990) and Configuration 2 (1991) (also released as Configuration 1+2) were ebm anthems touching the techno branch that was developing in the same era and from the same roots.
