
Cui Junzhi (崔君芝, active late 20th–21st c.) — The leading pioneer of the modern konghou (Chinese harp): a former Central National Orchestra soloist who in 1979–80 joined the state-backed team that rebuilt the instrument and codified a new technique. Today she is a National First-Class Performer and, since 2023, a master teacher at Bard College Conservatory’s US-China Music Institute.
