Crooked Hook, a Stoner/Garage/Psyche power trio from New Haven CT, is Joey Maddalena (guitar and vocals), Jason Bates (drums), and Rick Omonte (bass guitar). Comparisons of the the band can be linked to many different time periods of heavy music and the blues. The most prominent artists that ring out in the bands fuzz-driven tone are late sixties/early seventies hard rock bands such as Blue Cheer, Cactus, Muddy Waters, High Tide, and of corse Sabbath.
