About Crazy teens
Crazy Teens were a late 1950s rock & roll group from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They released one single in 1959 "Crazy Date / Rebel Boogie". Inspired by Chuck Berry’s "No Money Down", Dave Reynolds had written the song Crazy Date at the age of 13, and then his sister, Jeanne came up with the lyrics while they were living in Miami, Florida. Besides Chuck Berry, Dave was especially influenced by Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters and Count Basie at the time, and he was musically inclined from an early age.
