Crawling With Tarts is an experimental music group and was active during period 1983-1998. Principal members were Suzanne Dycus-Gendreau and Michael Gendreau and often they work with guest musicians. Music of CWT ranges from structured composition to free improvisation and is based on a wide palette of sounds, many of which are newly created with homemade instruments, and some contain subtle sounds, like the sound of rocks rubbing together. Their compositions are created and edited by a process which has the structure "organized in some way.
