About Crab Nebula

Crab Nebula was the project of Tony Hoyle, Brett Holzclaw, Wes Gibbs, and Paul Baldwin. The band established the players as key innovators in the Louisville hardcore/alternative underground scene of the late 1980s and into the early 90s. Crab Nebula lyrics and song titles pay homage to various influences including comics, zines, and the writings of William S Burroughs and Brion Gysin, which Hoyle carried forward into his other projects.
