THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE ARTIST BY THIS NAME. 1.) COUNT THE HOURS formed around the idea of the hope of escape from an all but dead-end navy town: Bremerton, Washington, a city tucked away within the Pacific Northwest. While only a short ferry ride from the opportunities Seattle offers, Bremerton is a veritable breeding ground for military and government employment. COUNT THE HOURS was just an idea in the head of singer Anthony Hale in the summer of 2004.
