Olga Maria de Souza (born 16 July 1968 in Rio de Janeiro), known professionally as Corona, is a Brazilian singer born in Rio de Janeiro into a musical family, with her father being a musician and her mother a singer. She developed an early passion for music and achieved international success with her debut single "The Rhythm of the Night" in 1994. The song topped the Italian charts for 13 consecutive weeks and reached number one in the United Kingdom, selling over one million copies.
